Forum down...
Hey everyone!
Aceboard is apparently having some trouble with their servers, but I hope that it will be up soon!
To create a memorable animated movie that the world has had a shortage of in the last 6 years or so...
Hey everyone!
Maxime has made a forum for us over at projectairlex.aceboard.com! ALL MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO REGISTER ON THE FORUM! I will email all of you about this news as it is going to be one of our main tools for communication and work! See you on the forum!
I need someone to be in charge of all things technical except the blog. For example, if we need a forum (which we do), this person will make one for us and things such as that! So, if you think you can handle that or if you know someone, please contact me! And please, 2 posts down, put your info there if you have not already! We NEED people to do so!
I thank the 4 people who have posted their info and anyone who checks the blog even with lack of updates. I am making a forum with different sections for each department. This will make things easier, as people can contact the departments themselves. But, again, if one does not check the blog, they will recive no information unless I decide to send emails to everyone! I found an interesting article in my local newspaper about a guy who created an animation short and was spotlighted in the Twin Cities Black Film Festival. I would like to see if I can contact him and add him to our team! Anyways, things should pick up soon, I will be able to talk with some of the crew in my area and we can get the ball rolling! STAY TUNED, STAY TUNED, STAY TUNED!!!
I do hope soon hasn't lost its meaning yet :/
Well, after much frustration on trying to prepare and working for the animation of the movie (I'm talking myself, not anyone else) I have decided to give up most of my writing influence on the movie and set animation as my main objective. Kylesmil (that is his AIM, by the way) and the other writers are now in charge for most of the story! Kylesmil and I are going to be gone for about 2 weeks soon, so I will try to give out as much info as I can before I leave. I will also put up a directory of the staff so that everyone can communicate with each other WITHOUT going through me. I am also going to see if we can get a little help from any CalArts students! That would just be awesome! I will work while I'm gone, of course. As frustrating as it may be sometimes, I absolutely ADORE animating and drawing. So, stay tuned this weekend!
